The Shirtsleeve Shroud is constructed from recycled, 100% cotton shirts and is attached to a built-in canvas carrier. This is a button-up model. Especially if you plan a natural or green burial, please specify if you prefer to replace plastic buttons with cloth ties, and be sure to determine that your burying ground allows fabric dyes of unknown origin. We've incorporated the sleeves to come around the body from the back and tie securely in front. The shirt pockets are handy holders for notes, flowers, or mementos. We've provided a long 10" interior pocket for a board if you prefer more support. This shroud lends itself well to custom orders; send us shirts and we'll send you back a very special shroud.
